For the third time, the Museum für Druckkunst and the Giesecke+Devrient Foundation are offering four scholarships for artists who have completed their artistic studies. The four-week scholarships with compulsory residency at the Museum für Druckkunst are intended for artistic development in the field of printmaking (letterpress, intaglio and planographic printing). The period for the stay is between October and December 2022 or January 2023 by arrangement.

The working hours are based on the opening hours of the museum: Monday to Friday you can work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays possible by arrangement (closed on Saturdays). The following presses are available, among others: 2 lithographic presses (max. format 45 x 55 cm), 2 etching presses (max. format 60 x 80 cm), one with a motor, a Korrex pressure press, 1 toggle press, 1 Grafix large-format pressure press (Format max. DIN A0). The work takes place in publicly accessible areas of the museum. Museum staff provide support with technical questions. A basic stock of materials is available, but the participants provide their own special equipment.
