In Autumn 2008 the Museum was able to purchase a fully equipped workshop of a woodengraver.

The workshop was owned by Rudolf Rieß in Nuremberg. He is the last woodengraver in Germany. The workshop has all the tools and instruments needed for this formerly very high steemed art.

But not only the devices for this handcraft are shown in the museum, but also original printing plates as well as a lot of printed images from the 19. Century and the beginning of the 20. Century.
