Toggle Presses

The builders of the many richly decorated handpresses evidenced a sense of both beauty and attention to the printing arts. The rarest among these is the English Paragon Press of 1832, of which, according to the technical literature, no other example has survived. Other models: Columbian, Albion, Britannia, Imperial; German press builders are represented by hand presses by Krause, Sigl and Dingler.
